Mill Ends Park

Located in Portland Oregon, Mill Ends Park is considered the World’s Smallest Park. It is located in the middle of SW Naito Pkwy and is 2 feet in diameter.

Yeah, I can just see how this came about…Citizen’s group: “We need to preserve a part of the wildlife and natural environment of the area!” Developer group: “Oh, of course, that’s important. We’re working on creating a public park space…We’ll see what we can do.” Pathetic, huh? (I’m a Portlander, and despite the contradictions, we’re still lucky to have many great parks, wildlife, and recreation areas)
