this foot tunnel is at the end of the road that takes you to waikawau beach.Its about 3 metres wide x 3 metres high x 50-60 metres long….from memory.Walk through this to get to the beach which has ironsand(black).Remote and unique entry to a beach,even for NZ.
Not sure whats freaky about it….camped there 8 wks ago…perhaps it was freaky in the fact it was deserted.Cool to see the ocean at the other end.
