Yes, I know it’s a Ford Falcon XC Coupe, and not the correct XB Coupe, and yes, it lacks the Peter Arcadipane front-end and the stripped interior, but it has the correct Weiand supercharger housing, the black paint and the kick-up pipes, so who’s complaining? Search for “mundi mundi look out”, just up the road to the west from Silverton, for the location of the tanker crash / opening car-chase in Mad Max II.
Does anyone know anything more about this car?

Yeah, theres an English bloke up there in Silverton that has opened a Mad Max museum. Hes a mega fan of all the films and moved over from England a few years ago. He owns one of the original Interceptors from the movie as well as about 10-15 other vehicles from the 3 movies. Some are from the film, some replicas.
