If you travel around the area, you can see many people watching the event progress. Also, travel east on Butterfly Drive to follow the water line to the hydrant (it goes pretty far). At that intersection, where the hydrant is, looks like somebody is talking to the car crew (possibly volunteer, civilian?)

Interesting if it where, but it is a camera error. The same “lightning” can be seen in the previous image in the same spot.
