India is now on Google Street View (updated)
For a couple of months now we’ve seen images from inside businesses pop up on Google Street View India. Google announced today they have teamed up with the Archaeological Survey of India and the Ministry of Culture to take images of over a 100 Indian monuments.
Qutub Minar in New Delhi is the tallest historical tower in India at 238 feet.

Update: The 100 heritage sites are not yet online. Google announced they will start to take those photos next week. What is available today are some Business photos from palaces and monuments. It will take Google a couple more months to add the 100 heritage sites to Street View. This will include the Taj Mahal, Khajuraho, Qutab Minar (which is already online as you can see above, so maybe more images from there?) and Ajanta and Ellora caves.

CERN get a visit from Google Street View
CERN opened its doors to Google Maps Street View allowing anyone, anywhere in the world to take a peek into its laboratories, control centers and its myriad underground tunnels housing cutting-edge experiments. Street View also lets scientists working on the experiments, who may be on the other side of the world, explore the equipment they’re using. (source)
