The near street, with the 50 km/h speed limit, is in British Columbia. The far street, with the 35mph limit, is in Washington. The border between Canada and the United States is the ditch separating them.

Google Maps Street View coming to Malaysia
Another country will soon be available on Street View. This time the pegman will visit Malaysia. According to TheStar:
Google and the ministry are now conducting an online poll to let the public decide which locations should be included in this project.
Malaysians will be able to choose the places under five categories and even suggest their favourite locations in a write-in box for those not listed.
It was announced yesterday that Google will also start to take photos in Thailand soon.

Google and the Tourism Authority of Thailand have announced plans for Street View to cover Thailand. Thais can nominate their favourite tourist destinations to be captured by Street View cars. Google will begin to take images shortly.
