Google now let you create your own Street View images for Google Maps!
If you have an Android smartphone you’ll be able to create your own panoramic images and upload to google maps for the world to see. This was created by Google employee Evan:
Google Maps explains:
“With Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) or higher, you can capture a 360-degree panorama directly from your Camera app. Once you have a photo to share, you can choose to share your panorama on Google Maps and Google+. To see all your shared panoramas, click on My Panoramas above.
Once you choose to share your panorama, the photo will be uploaded to Google Maps for the world to see. Your panoramas can appear on Google Maps, Google Earth, Google Search, Google+ Local, and even third-party sites using the Google Maps API.”
