New Street View images from 13 countries
Google has now announced more details about it’s latest release of Street View images. It’s the biggest release yet since the launch in 2007 according to Google.
New imagery is now available for 13 of our established Street View countries: Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Romania, South Africa, Taiwan, Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
Part of the new images: Cape Agulhas, South Africa – the most southern tip of Africa.

Street View now live on Isle of Man
You can now see the streets of the UK island Isle of Man on Google Maps Street View. It just went live. Here’s an example:
Let us know if you see anything interesting while moving around on the island. It’s possible that other areas have been added to Street View today, but so far we have no news about that.

Police stop Google Street View in India
Google Street View started to take images in Bangalore, India last month. City police have now objected to the collection of data. Due to this problem Google have decided to stop taking images until the situation has been resolved. Let’s hope they solve this soon. We would love to see some street view images from India.
All summer, Google Street View will be taking photos in Estonia
Joint Stock Company Regio is from June 19 until the end of this summer’s external work on the technology of Street View, in which will be collected images of objects obtained by means of photographs, laser measurements of roads and GPS-navigation, as well as information on road signs.

Street View images from Isle of Man postponed
Due to some technical problems google have postponed the release of images from Isle of Man. We reported last week that images were about to be released. We’ll let you know when google have announced a new date.
