Sydney Opera House in Australia (image above) and a large number of other cities in Australia are now available in Google Maps StreetView.
Street View comes to Russia and UK
Google have received an OK from British courts to launch it’s Street View service in the UK according to The Telegraph. Let’s hope Street View images from the UK are released soon.
And in Russia another service has taken photos on the streets similar to Google. If you understand russian the report and some photos of the car they use is available here. The images will be part of the Russian map service Gdeetotdom.ru. I beleive that russain domain name translates to “Where it is”. Update: I stand corrected. It means “Where is this house” as explained by a visitor in the comments. Thanks.

Google Car De-cloaks for fuel
Apparently the Google car must de-cloak when refueling. The car immediately becomes “invisible” once back out on the street.

Google driver asking for directions
In France Google is using two cars. The first google car captures this image of the other car and driver. Looks like the poor guy is lost and looking for help.
