Explore Mount Everest on Google Street View

About Street View Nepal · Reply

Today Google announced new Street View images, this time from the Mount Everest area in Nepal. You can see the impressive mountain area and take a walk around the villages. You can’t yet climb to the top of Mount Everest on Google Street View. I’m sure Google is working on it…

A legendary mountaineer named Apa Sherpa (age 55) helped Google with these images. He’s reached the summit of Mount Everest more than anyone else – 21 times!

Google Zip Line Street View in Amazon forest

About Street View Brazil · Reply

Google has taken Street View to new heights. This is in the Amazon rain forest in Brazil where Google put the camera on a zipline. This image was taken at the top of the zip line in the Juma Sustainable Development Reserve.

Undiscovered species and mysterious places rest high up in the tree canopies of the primary forests, atop the trees that have stood for centuries. Take the zipline from the top canopy down to the forest floor!
