Ship “Avrora”
This is the famous Russian cruiser built in the year 1900. It battled the Japanese Navy in the Russo-Japanese War 1905. But it’s fame came from the October revolution. On 25 October 1917, Aurora refused to carry out an order to put to sea, which sparked the October Revolution. (wikipedia)
Google Maps StreetView now available in Poland
Street View is now live in Poland too. Earlier today Russia came to Street View. This image is from the city of Łódź, Poland.
Update: Apparently this one street is the only one available on Street View from Poland.
