Google added a little Irish touch to StreetView due to St Patricks Day.

Sausalito in California USA has just been added to Mapjack, a similar service as Google Streetview. Previously they had images from San Franciso and Chiang Mai in Thailand.

City Councilor Sal LaMattina
News about the street view photo in the Boston Herald:
Seems cameras used by Google haphazardly captured the East Boston/North End councilor in a semiprivate moment – shirtless and washing his garbage barrels.
If you click on LaMattina’s Montmorenci Avenue address in East Boston on Google Maps, up pops a street-view picture in which the councilor can be clearly seen, hose in hand, sans shirt and in green shorts in front of his house. For now, anyway.

Just a bug I found that kinda warped one of the towers at U.S. Cellular Field

iiCosmo is an Asian service similar to Google Maps StreetView with 3d movies. Using wide angle movies you can travel through a couple of cities in Japan, Thailand, Australia, South Korea and Iran.

Mapjack (a competitor to Googles StreetView) have now added a city in Thailand. The city is named Chiang Mai. They already have street view images from San Francisco in high quality. As you can see from the image above, Mapjack uses Google Maps to point out where their images have been taken. (thanks Hatebreed Fan)
