Today is a very special day. On the 178th anniversary of Darwin’s discovery of the Galapagos Islands Google now offer Street View images from this amazing place. This is a video introduction to new images added today from Galapagos Islands:
This also marks the first Street View images from Ecuador. If you take a look around these islands you’ll notice a lot of interesting animals. Let us know what you find! And also let The Charles Darwin Foundation know, since they are calling on users to help identify plants and animals while visiting Galapagos on Street View.

Google bought Motorola a few years ago. Each week this facility now assembles 100,000 phones.
No word yet if Apple will allow Google Street View inside the more secretive Foxconn facility in China…
