Tokyo are among a couple of cities in Japan added today to the growing list of Google Maps StreetView cities. And Australia was also added today.
Sydney Opera House in Australia (image above) and a large number of other cities in Australia are now available in Google Maps StreetView.
Google have received an OK from British courts to launch it’s Street View service in the UK according to The Telegraph. Let’s hope Street View images from the UK are released soon.
And in Russia another service has taken photos on the streets similar to Google. If you understand russian the report and some photos of the car they use is available here. The images will be part of the Russian map service Gdeetotdom.ru. I beleive that russain domain name translates to “Where it is”. Update: I stand corrected. It means “Where is this house” as explained by a visitor in the comments. Thanks.
