Google StreetView comes to Poland

According to local news sources, Google is currently taking photos in Poland for it’s StreetView images.

Initially only the two largest cities will be covered by the panoramic StreetView: Warsaw and Krakow.

Other countries and regions coming soon to StreetView

    I saw the car parked right outside my apt. here in Warsaw last week, so there are here filming.

    it’s Feb 2010 and almost whole Europe is on Street View except Poland and Germany.

    I believe it might be the case that German and Polish privacy laws prevent them from introducing this feature. Any comment from Google?

    Be patient… Belgium, Austria, Ireland, Greece and Hungary aren’t up either. Poland will be up soon though, street view cars stopped scanning there in October/November time.
