Google removes another image
This time it’s the man who got busted. But streetviewfun.com has a copy of the streetview image that was removed. The face of this person can’t be seen and he can’t possibly be identified, so I’m not sure why the image was removed.

We’re getting a lot of traffic at the moment. The past 24 hours have been extreme, largely due to Kid wipes out on bike. Take a look if you haven’t seen it yet!
If you get any database errors you know why. That’s also why we had to remove the top 100 from the sidebar temporarily so the database will get a little less to do. You can still see the full Top 100 if you click at the button at the top right of every page.
In other site news, we have improved the Top Contributors list where members who have submitted the most StreetView sightings get listed. It’s now a Top 10 list. You can see this list at the bottom of the sidebar menu.

Mapjack in Lake Tahoe and Yosemite
You can now see street view images similar to Google Maps StreetView at Mapjack from Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park. Mapjack have previously added images from San Francisco and Sausalito in the US and Chiang Mai in Thailand.
Images at Mapjack have a much higher quality than the ones available through Googles StreetView. But Google have already images from 30 cities in the US and plan many more.
